John Kevin Tierney (born 17 June 1964) was an English cricketer. Tierney was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Ashford, Kent. Tierney made his debut for Devon in the 1985 Minor Counties Championship against Cornwall. From 1985 to 1997, he represented the county in 35 Championship matches, the last of which came against Cheshire.〔(Minor Counties Championship Matches played by John Tierney ). Cricketarchive.com.
